Greenham Common Trust has reacquired a 43 acre site at Greenham Business Park

Greenham Common Trust has reacquired a 43-acre site at Greenham Business Park.

The site already has planning permission for B1C (flexible light industry), B2 (general industry) and B8 (storage and distribution) for five buildings ranging in size from 37,000 sq ft to 175,000 sq ft.

“The Trust will consider the full range of prospective development proposals as and when they arise including small scale proposals,” said Stuart Tagg, Chief Executive for Greenham Common Trust, which owns and manages Greenham Business Park.

He added: “This is a great opportunity for the Trust to offer our existing tenants the opportunity to grow and develop here at Greenham Business Park. It also offers new tenants or buyers prime design and build opportunities. The Trust needs to continue to take opportunities such as this to encourage future development which will generate the steady growth and flow of charitable income necessary to extend its significant support for local community projects.”

There are no specific plans for the site at this point and the existing users will continue to use the land as normal, including international shipping company Wincanton which leases the land for its ‘in-land’ container storage hub.
